EVENT MARKETING: THROWBACK MUSIC FEST
Following a "double award-winning" campaign in 2023, we re-imagined the Throwback Music Fest for 2024 with a new look and feel for the brand and website. As designers and marketers it is our challenge to keep annual event materials fresh and audiences engaged. This was truly a team effort with three interns and our creative director.
The 2024 TMF has been the most successful to date for the Gladstone Park Chamber of Commerce and the Gladstone Park Neighborhood Association, and our metrics reflect this as well:
• 64,729 website views (up from 54,000 in 2023) and 22,483 visitors
• 18,473 search engine referrers
• 90,261 views of Facebook posts, with 1,525 reactions, 344 shares, and heaps of comments
• launched a new Instagram page for 2024, which garnered a fledgling 1,362 views

In addition to Save The Date and Volunteers Needed posts, social media posts were created for each band as well as the primary event activities. The Band Post below shows all the bands together in one post with one music track, but it is worth noting for the individual band posts, the music track for each was different and in the style of the band's performance. The same approach was applied to the major event activities. Static Social Media Posts were also created. See below.
